FAQs

  • We offer initial consultations on projects that provide us with the scope, such as a hand or digital sketch detailing dimensions or even inspiration imagery. Once we determine the project is obtainable, considering the budget and timeline, we charge a drafting deposit (typically 10 percent of the total anticipated cost) to provide an accurate quote. Due to the laborious nature of custom work and the planning each project requires, producing a quote could take longer than expected, especially with special order materials and services. Once the project goes into production, the funds paid for the design deposit are applied toward the final bill collected at delivery/installation.

  • Yes. We offer custom design work and will happily collaborate with the designer or contractors you have chosen to build with. We are big proponents of having a well-executed design before starting work, as a comprehensive plan will ensure that you know what to expect upon completion. If we review a concept that needs assistance in the functional department, we like to produce drawings in-house to ensure the fabricators are on the same page as the engineers.

  • Yes. We offer installation services (for an additional rate) or can refer you to a preferred vendor for a quote. We test our products before they leave the shop to ensure an efficient and safe installation. This way, we can anticipate what tooling and hardware are needed before arrival.

Installation work is billed as a day rate.

  • We are certified and equipped to provide on-site MIG and TIG welding in ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

  • Good question. Non-ferrous materials (such as aluminum, brass, copper, and bronze) will not attract a magnet when placed against the surface.

Mild steel and some low-grade stainless steel will attract a magnet.

Chances are if you are inquiring about a repair or renovation of a project that is showing rust, we are dealing with low-grade, structural carbon steel; which would typically need to be replaced.

  • We take great pride in our metal finishing abilities.

We can prep your project to receive the finest finishes from bare steel to powder-coated, plated, polished, and even a custom patina.

  • For your safety and ours, we carry insurance up to $1,000,000 to cover our variety of job sites and even insure our products. And we are more than happy to adjust the base as needed.
